  • 4 x 1 Bedroom Studios – For those students wishing to enjoy independent living.

The building is fully managed by West Property who are at the end of the phone for any issues and routine repairs.

The apartments are available for a 9 month let Sept-May. Please note this is a fixed term and early termination is not possible.

RATES:

Payment Period – Rent is paid quarterly in advance:

2nd September 2019 (Payment date) – 1st December 2019

2nd December 2019 (Payment date) – 1st March 2020

2nd March 2020 (Payment date)  – 1st June 2020

AVAILABLITY

Available 2nd September 2019 to 1st June 2020. Please note this is a fixed term and early termination is not possible.

CONDITIONS OF RENTAL

1. PETS: Pets NOT allowed
2. SMOKING: Strictly no smoking
3. Students will sign an occupancy agreement for the period September 19 – June 2020. The property WILL NOT be available beyond the end of May. The agreement is for a fixed period and early termination is not possible.
4. The property is to be occupied as a private dwelling and sub-letting is not permitted.
5. INVENTORY: This is detailed in the listing below.
6. RENT: The rent will be payable quarterly in advance in September, December and March by BACS. Rent excludes Council Tax and TV Licence. The tenant will be responsible for notifying these providers and setting up accounts.
7. DEPOSIT: A deposit of £540.00 per tenant will be due to secure the tenancy once your application is selected. This will be register with an Approved Tenancy Deposit Scheme within 30 days of commencement of the tenancy.
8. References (ID, proof of address, university enrollment, valid guarantor, character reference) will be required to be submitted along with your completed application form if your application is to be considered. The Landlord reserves the right to refuse entering into any Lease Agreement

We ONLY have 22 rooms available for First Year Students in the development. So, competition is fierce and you will need to be proactive if you are to get your place in this fantastic development!

You can only apply for your place at Distillery Apartments when you have the a confirmed place at SAMS.

Once you have your confirmed place at SAMS:

SAMS will send you information on how to begin your online application for accommodation at Distillery Apartments.

  • Our application procedure involves an online application form to be completed by you and your guarantor.
  • We then review applications and complete the referencing process.
  • Once complete we allocate you a room you will need to pay the deposit (4 weeks rent) to hold the room.
  • Once this is paid we will begin preparation of the lease paperwork and send this for signing by you and your guarantor.
  • Once signed we will confirm your move in date and arrangements for collecting keys.
